The Lavender has some problems with the keypad during the day, even with the backlight, seeing the keys is difficult.

sorry not happy with this is slow, has a poor camera, and have had very poor luck browsing the internet. many sites such as youtube will not function even after downloading the youtube player blackberry app/ I would not recommend this product, spend the money for the bold, or higher end blackberry, or even an iphone.

Well I totally love my phone however being that it costs around 500 dollars I think the company could have thrown in javascript and a memory card very cheap not to throw it in so essential! I have to go to other computers to do what my blackberry should do!

Fido Blackberry Curve 8520

Reviewed on Wednesday April 21, 2010 by , Brampton
This is not the best of blackberry phones, neither is the Fido support for the phone. I made a bad decision to move from Rogers BB to Fido BB service and ever since, I have had to remove the battery from the phone to reboot it as the phone keeps going to the 'GSM' mode every hour and I will not have data service. I have called Fido several times to be told it is a software issue and they don't know when this would be resolved !!!. Also the phone atimes has bluetooth issues. Very unhappy with the phone and service. Fido has no idea how long it will take to have the issue resolved. I have been on the service for 4 months now !

Switched from Pearl and couldn't be happier

Reviewed on Monday January 11, 2010 by , Hamilton
I recently switched from the Blackberry Pearl to the Curve 8520 and couldn't be happier. Things I like about the Curve

1. Full Keyboard. Soooo much better than the Pearl

2. Trackpad. Very easy to navigate with this little trackpad.

3. Wi-fi. I get to use the wireless internet when at home or in the office to browse the internet.

Only thing I don't like is the lack of 3G support, browsing the internet is painfully slow.

Definitely recommend this smartphone to anyone out there.
