HATE IT!!!

i am not impressed..
the phone always freezes and never does what you want it to do.
the battery does not even last a whole day,
whenever i receieve a message it doesnt even say the right name or time..
i have a usb card in it for my ringtones, it only works sometimes..
but sometimes (most of the time) i just get an annoying beep,
sometimes it doesnt even ring or vibrate so you dont know if someone is trying to reach you unless you`re looking through your texts or you happen to be looking at the screen when someone is calling you.
it vibrates whenever it charges (when you plug it in or out) but the plug is weird and whenever you move the plug that goes in the phone, it vibrates and doesnt charge properly.
i also dont like that if i look in my contacts, there is no button to call, so you pretty much need to memorise the number and then type it in if you wanna call someone.
i really dont recommend it.. its really unexpected and always does weird things..

Definitely Not a Fan...

Previously owning a Moto Krzr and a PCD TXTM8, I have to say that the Motorola Grasp is a huge step down from any other mobile I've used/tried out.

Aesthetically, it's quite nice: small, lightweight, and fun-looking QWERTY keyboard. There's easy-access side buttons for volume and whatnot, and a "Lock Keypad" button at the top of the phone.

As for practical use, it's quite irritating and inefficient. The raised-button keyboard is a little awkward to type on, and the infrared scrolling button doesn't always respond well. Short, quick movements and exaggerated directional movements both warrant unwanted results in regards to cursor movement.

The user interface/home menu is not too pretty looking or useful: one wrong swipe or too much pressure applied, and you'll be loading Bluetooth instead of pulling up your contacts. Also, I've experienced accidentally calling someone while attempting to respond to a text message, and not even being aware of doing so.

When receiving messages, the phone doesn't always vibrate or ring. After having the phone for two days, the initial prompt screen is glitching when receiving a text: it will show the wrong sender and the wrong time. It's a minor detail, but if you invest in a phone, do you not expect it to work appropriately?

So, basically, my complaint is that the Grasp is ergonomic in neither software nor physical use. I'm disappointed in myself that I let the salesperson talk me into purchasing it. If you're looking for something more reliable or more serious, look elsewhere.
