Dead Phone Problem

Reviewed on Tuesday August 23, 2011 by , Ottawa
When I got my phone home from Fido after a marathon effort of the phone booth people to get it working, I was very disappointed, especially with the vague and less than useful operating instructions furnished by Motorola.
Then I had a problem in that if I turned it off for a while, it would not turn on again, apparently because the battery had discharged.
I had fairly safisfactory service with a previous Fido cellphone furnished by Sprint, but my experience this time has been a nightmare.

Terrible phone

Reviewed on Thursday February 11, 2010 by , Edmonton
It is $20 more then my LG Virgin mobile phone and years behind. Compared to LG ($50) Virgin Mobile phone this phone feels like something from 2000. Graphics, functionality and navigation are terrible. I still have not added my contacts because it takes 2 mins per contact to add. The sound quality is glitchy and it has high interference with other electronics like my land line phone. The buttons are very hard to press and don't always work. Not very well thought out. I like Fido's prepaid plans but I will never by another Motorola again. Don't waste your time or money.

Stay away!

Reviewed on Sunday January 24, 2010 by , Montreal
The screen is broken without me even dropping it! and it costs more to fix it than buying a new one. I cannot send text or see anything on the screen. The battery life and sound quality is good though.

only good thing is "eco-friendliness" of the phone.the rest is all pile of garbage.stand-by time of 9 days,or 5 or who knows what next, lag during inputs,no response until you really push those buttons,2,5mm audio jack instead standard
3, camera, but at least there is microSD's not worth a single dollar.I use my as a door stop.sad how rogers is destroying Fido, piece by piece.

yes but with the price of the phone must not ask the moon either. I find it very good value for money. before buying it is clear that he didn't camera or text based fast so why buy it. If you want all that you must wait for you to pay for its options. I think when you're used to a texter it is still very good. I like him my new phone. He didn't perhaps not the pictures but it has an mp3 so I found wonderful was no problem with me.

Sleek, Compact, Eco Friendly but Not Functional

Reviewed on Tuesday April 14, 2009 by , ontario
Ive had this phone a few days now and I WILL be sending it back. Its got a great look and design, sleek, compact and modern, but thats the only good thing about it, besudes the 25% recycled materials it is made from and a few other "eco' perks. It cannot keep up with fast texting, so you'll end up with mumble jumble unless you "take your time" which is very aggravating. No camera (I dont mind but some do), and it takes a lot to get to applications, you will be pressing "add, okay, remove, select etc.." for the simplist things. I love the look, size and eco friendliness of this phone, but it's just not suitable for Texters, or people who like to use their phone for all the time. Great first phone for a child though.
