What a JOKE

Reviewed on Wednesday April 14, 2010 by , Canada
What a Joke this phone is. I know i'm writing this review long after this phone came out, but seriously. I will never own anything by samsung ever because of this phone. The team in charge of putting this thing together obviously didn't use cell phones before and/or were deffinately not competent for the job, and any company that puts people who are not competent in charge of things is a BAD company.

- There is no '?' question mark in the T9 predictive text !

- It doesn't learn words I put in the T9 predictive text.

- I can't type a number in and go to "send message". I have to to "messaging - text messages - send new - put the number in - THEN i get to type my message"

- In 'Received Calls' when I click on a number and go to options there is "Dial, Save, Prepend, Erase" WHY ISN"T THERE A SEND MESSAGE???"

This COMPLETE disregard for a half decent user interface disgusts me, and made me lose all confidence in Samsung as a corporation.

I have had this phone for almost a year now. It has definitly served its purpose, and is still working great. I like the fact that when i drop it i dont freak out because im scared of it breaking. It's a tuff lil' guy... although im sure ill get a nicer one some day, for a cheap buy, my little samsung has definitely been efficient.

I have had this phone for a couple years and now I have decided to get a new phone. This phone has a good battery power and it is stirty and has gone through alot of dropping on the ground. I recommend samsung phones, good quality.

Overall, not a bad little phone

I like this phone. It is very affordable, has a decent feature set, and as another reviewer pointed out, tough as nails. I dropped this thing more times than Tiki Barber dropped balls, and it runs like a top with just a few scuffs on the chassis. While I have always preferred handsets with an LCD display on the exterior (for Caller ID and the like), this little rig has served me well and I would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive yet good handset. I gave it 4 stars.
