Virgin Mobile Launching Apple iPhone in February 2010

November 9, 2009
Today it was leaked that Virgin Mobile Canada will release the Apple iPhone in February 2010.
Virgin Mobile Canada Releasing Apple iPhone

This leak/announcement makes a lot of sense with Bell being the owner of Virgin Mobile Canada.  It also means that Virgin will be moving over to Bell's new HSPA network that they launched last week.  We could see a number of new HSPA/GSM phones coming to Virgin Mobile Canada in the near future.

No pricing was announced but expect it to be in line with the big three's current pricing barring a holiday Apple iPhone price drop.

There are also rumours that Virgin Mobile Canada will be releasing a prepaid CDMA internet stick in the $149.99 price range.  It will most likley be the Novatel U760 which Bell released in June 2009.
