Rogers will soon be launching the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate Android smartphone. No word on the actual launch date, but the phone has been listed as 'Coming Soon' on the Rogers website for a couple of weeks now, so the release date should be near. The Samsung Galaxy S Captivate will be supported on the Rogers HSPA network, run on the Android 2.1 OS, and features a 5.0 MP camera with multiple shot modes and 4x zoom, large 4" Super AMOLED touchscreen and 1Ghz Hummingbird Processor. Other features include Swype text input technology, social networking integration, a full HTML browser and the ability to record videos in HD.
