As of today, Bell subscribers can pick from either the pre-existing Roam Better 100 MB add-on or the new Roam Better Home Data option. The old Roam Better with 100 MB option comes with unlimited talk and text and 100 MB of data on top of the data included with a regular monthly plan. It costs $5 for travel in the US, or $10 in over 135 international destinations.

The new Roam Better with Home Data option also has unlimited talk and text, but uses data that is already included in the user's monthly plan. The new option costs $6 for travel in the US, or $12 for international locations. This option could potentially save heavy data-users a lot off their bills while travelling.

All Roam Better add-ons are active for 24 hours. They are all compatible with most Bell monthly mobile plans, including Share plans, Voice and Text only plans and Small Business plans. If you plan to travel to a location not covered by Roam Better you will need to look into a Travel Pass.

Subscribers can activate Roam Better at any point in time, and will only be charged once they actually roam. To activate, just text "ROAM" to 8000 for Roam Better with Home Data, or text "ROAM100" to 7626 for Roam Better with 100 MB.

You can view all of the add-ons at bell.ca/mobility/roam-better or at our Add-Ons section of CompareCellular.ca.
