Locks up regularly

I had a Mifi 2 device for about 2 years then it failed so I bought the 6630 hoping for more reliability than the original Mifi provided which locked up regularly. No improvement. I recently took an update (on my data plan) and hoped it would fix problems. Well every 3 weeks or so it locks up. I have it at a remote location to monitor a Honeywell thermostat and control other wifi devices. When it works, it works great. But once locked up, I have to cycle power to get the devices up and communicating again. I phoned Bell and they say I may be able to put the sim card in an unused Samsung Galaxy S3 and use that as a hotspot. I'm going to try this next time. This device is a disappointment.
