In Canada we have only three national carriers who operate their own networks:

  • Bell
  • Rogers
  • Telus

These three networks operate almost everywhere Canadians need cell service. There are other regional networks who offer coverage in specific cities, including:

  • Freedom Mobile
  • BellMTS
  • SaskTel
  • Videotron

Always check coverage in your area before signing up for a cell phone plan—the last thing you want is to be stuck on a plan that doesn’t provide decent service in your own home.
