WIND Mobile Nokia N900****UPDATE: April 13, 2010****

Wind Mobile stated today that "while we really like the N900, this phone won’t be offered by Nokia in Canada. Before you get disappointed, we do have good news if you’re thinking of getting one: you can still take advantage of our best rates on 3G data for the N900."

WIND will be offering the Nokia 5230.

Graham, head of call centre operations at WIND Mobile, has made a post on stating that the Nokia N900 will be coming to WIND Mobile in early 2010.  WIND Mobile has been getting a lot of questions through their web sites community section about what phones are coming soon.  With rumours of the Apple iPhone or Google Nexus One they have provided the following information:

When will you offer more phones, such as the Nokia N900 or Apple iPhone?

We obviously want to provide you with the phones that you want. The only challenge right now is having manufacturers build their phones so that they work on our GSM Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) network. As we expand, and as more and more operators evolve, too, more handsets will become available and we’ll carry them. Specifically for the N900 – which does work on our network – we hope to have the phone in early 2010.
