LG Q6 is quietly making its way to North America from international markets. While it will probably turn up at most major Canadian carriers, so far it has been confirmed to be making an appearance at Bell Mobility on September 28th.
It might not have a fingerprint sensor, but the Q6 does have facial recognition technology built in, which is unexpected of a mid-range device. It has a minimalist design with a seamless body and a 80% screen-to-body ratio that fits comfortably in one hand. There are a variety of colour options available on the international market, but so far the platinum silver finish will be available to Canadians.
The long-lasting 3000 mAh battery comes with QuickCharge 2.0 capabilities, and there are a 5MP front-facing camera and a generous 13 MP main camera. The LG Q6 runs Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 2 TB with a microSD card if desired.
