wish I'd known

After I lost my little but great flip phone of a few years and had to replace, the only choice Virgin Mobile had was the Alcatel Onetouch so i got it.
So disappointed. Almost never hear the rings, I have to wait forever for any letter to complete before I can continue, I have to press really hard to get a letter to appear or to move a space and that little line for spacing will sometimes be in 2 or 3 places at once, #$!!@%! And as a result of all of the above, I end up misspelling a lot. Ready to go to Consumer Cellular, who also has an Alcatel but diff model but they also have a different make.

Great Basic Flip Phone!!

Reviewed on Wednesday February 7, 2018 by , Vancouver
I don't know why people are complaining about. I bought mine for $60 at a Walmart and this phone is great. The battery lasts a long time, the screen is big and so are the buttons and I've had NO problems with mine what so ever!! I also bought an SD card for it, so now it has a little over 16gb and you can jack it up to 32gb! If people are going to whine about how it doesn't do this or that, here's some advice; Shut up and buy a smartphone!! What do you expect, it's a basic phone. If Blackberry Pearl flip phones were still on the market, I would buy that but this is the next best thing but it isn't a smartphone. I am happy with my Alcatel. Get yours at a Walmart, not through Koodo or some kiosk because those ones are crap. I love my phone and I already have tons of music, photos, and wallpapers. It does all I need and more!!!

It's a basic phone, not an iphone!!!

Reviewed on Monday February 5, 2018 by , Winnipeg
I just got this phone recently because my smartphone is always updating, updating, updating!!! And I don't even have very many apps downloaded. Anyways, this flip phone is great. I see many people complain saying they don't know how to use it, they are MORONS!!! and need to be slapped upside the head because they are RETARDS!!! Such a basic phone, great for calls and text and the phone overall looks sleek and has a big screen and buttons. the keypad is really glossy, which I love. People also complain that it doesn't do this or that, what do you expect??? Go get a smartphone if you need all the features, IDIOT!!! this phone does all I need, anything else, I just put the sim card into my smartphone or just use my laptop. If you want a cheap simple phone, this is the one! All the other flips are crap and this one has a nice big screen and comes pre-loaded with wallpapers and ringtones. Good sleek phone I can use as a work phone out on the construction site on my breaks. Battery is standard like with all flip phones.

Total POS

Reviewed on Saturday January 6, 2018 by , Holyoke Co
Every review you've read prior to this one sums up this POS device. I'm glad mine is a company supplied device so I'm not out any money. At least the call forwarding works so I don't have to take it out of my pocket and I can answer that phone number on my HTC One M9.
