Works for me

Reviewed on Thursday December 15, 2016 by , Victoria BC
Replaced a basic flip phone...I use this to make phone calls and text a little and BONUS; it has a good fm radio and can take a a memory card with music....I will not be using email and web browser very much if at all as I prefer to use my laptop at home. .I can take a photo or video if needed but that is not a priority.....As a basic phone with some add ons this works for me and all things considered I think it is a good value.

It was in Gaye's review note I could set a better sound for hard of hearing user, this phone is one that needs to be thrashed in a garberator. still no star rating

Still on the fence

Reviewed on Friday November 25, 2016 by , canada
Got this phone a couple days ago. i had a nice little slide out keyboard phone that was 6 years old. i only changed because the provider is changing their towers or whatever is happening in 2017. was unhappy loosing my keypad, but i'd rather a flipper than a demon phone.

The start up manual is a joke. i ended up here to try and figure out how to hopefully change something on the thing. other then that been just messing around with buttons trying to figure it out myself. It's like walking around a new room blindfolded. Careful you dont ram into something. it's frustrating.

this phone seems very hard to use compared to my old phone, i havent even bothered to try and send pics yet. trying to avoid texting as much as possible. still have to find the space key for that too. did manage to get all caps off tho.

with cell phone companies changing their towers it's sad people are being backed into a corner to have to get one of those nasty touch screen phones or resort to one of these flippers. ive little choice. have to just buckle down and solider on.

Terrible batteries

Reviewed on Friday November 25, 2016 by , Vancouver BC
Phone not bad if you only require basic, but batteries terrible.
At just over a year old, the batteries run down within two days with the phone TURNED OFF!
Suspect there must be a problem with the phone unless there is an internal short in the battery - but it shows that it takes a full charge!?.
I have a 14 year old Samsung flip that is obsolete now (CDMA) but the battery is still good. Why can't someone make a battery as good as that one was?
