Top notch from RIM

As a Roger's rep I had the pleasure of getting to try out a 7100r. Needless to say I was absolutely floored by the capability of the device. Excellent ease of use, a much more user-friendly size (in comparison to the 7200 series), and overall a much cleaner device to look at

The 7100r caters to every need I have when it comes to a data device, and would not hestitate to recommend this to anyone

I was a bit skeptical about the predictive text (SureType), but found that in no time at all the 7100r easily adapted to my typing style

Furthermore, the BlueTooth and speaker phone were a nice finishing touch to the Berry

Overall I'd have to say a 9.5/10. Not sure what else I'd improve upon.. There's gotta be something though. Ah well, maybe not. Easily 5 stars - Excellent job by RIM

New Beginning for RIM

Initially I was skeptical of this unit, having used the 7280 in the past and not really liking it. At work, I had a customer come in and request this phone which I had no experience with and didn't currently carry (the 7100r). Ordered some in, and in getting to know the phone I began to grow accustomed to it's features and ease of use, so much so that I've since purchased one for myself.

I find the best features are the attatchement viewer (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), how much more comfortable it is to hold , Bluetooth technology and the newly designed holster. Goodbye plastic, hello fabric holster. I'd highly recommend the device to those who are looking for a sleek, well performing data/BlackBerry solution.

Perfect for a new Blackberry user

I find this device very user friendly. Great reception. The EDGE technology makes a difference you can easily notice. Bluetooth is a great addition. The only feature I find this device is lacking is voice dialing. The screen resolution is excellent! The SureType works well. Traditional Blackberry users may not enjoy the transition to SureType. Regular cell users suffering with predictive text should be impressed.
Over all I highly reccommend this product.
