Surprise

Reviewed on Friday December 19, 2008 by Wallace, Syracuse NY
Well I have read a few reviews, and I think I have a real complaint about this LG-1500. I don't know much about cell phones, but I thought they all had speakerphones, and I was sorely dissapointed when I got my prepaid phone together and found out that I did't have one. I wanted to be able to operate my computer and talk on the phone. I need to know a way to remedy this by exchanging this for a phone that I can use. when I bought this phone it wasn't mentioned that the speakerphone wasn't there, and when I look at the LG1500 It displays a speaker phone feature on the website. Of course that leaves me completely comfused. Can someone explain it to me?

Lg 1500 works GREAT

Reviewed on Tuesday July 8, 2008 by Matthew, Arizona
I've owned a LG 1500 for 2 months ,,, and it's worked flawlessly. When reading other reviews ,,, I'm thinking maybe the bugs have been worked out from prior complainants. I don't have the c-model with camera ,,, don't need the overhead.

1) Full Battery charge talk time has exceeded the 2-1/2 hours stated in brochure.
2) Reception is fine with no drops experienced !!!
3) Volume is exceptional, clear and easily adjusted.
4) User friendly, ease-of-use.
5) Compact in size, exterior screen, large fonts/buttons, lightweight.
6) SAR = 1.4W, kinda high.

funky screens

Reviewed on Friday May 12, 2006 by Andy, Victoria
Every once in awhile I flip open my phone to find the screen all blue except for a yellowish bar taking up the bottom fifth of the screen. Although the reception is pretty good, and usability is tolerable, in retrospect I'd pick a different phone than this.

Not so happy

I got an LG1500 as a replacement for my Samsung. We swapped the SIM card and I was told I would have all the functions on the new phone that I had on the old one. One month later I am still trying to download. Rogers now tells me there may be a technical problem with this model and downloading so I get to spend another four freaking hours on the phone with them (on hold for 3 hours and 50 minutes I'm sure) figuring this out. Beware....have your service provider download something before you take delivery of your phone to see if it works for you.
