I've had this phone for a few days now. So far so good. I'm a bit hard of hearing (too many nights beside the subwoofer of a club) so I found the Versa to be quite loud and clear. The touch screen for typing is pretty good but if you have bigger hands...let me be more specific...if you don't have dainty finger tips it might be a small challenge to type quickly as I found myself back spacing to correct my mistypes. Reception during a call has been good. My only real let down on this phone is the video playback and the slow picture taking. The video does NOT use the full screen or even most of the screen. When the phone is vertical or horizontal, either way the video playback is tiny. Telus would do well to have a newer firmware to correct this. Perhaps it will limit the phone in some way I don't know...but the only word I can think of is LAME video playback. I have not used the internet on the Versa as of yet so I won't comment on that. I hope this helps someone.
One last thing. In the US at Verizon they show that the Versa has a gamepad module and that a WIFI module may come out. If that comes out for Telus (provided that they have any decent games) I think this phone would be fantastic.
Does anyone know if the Verizon Modules work on the Telus version of the Versa? I ordered the detachable Verizon keyboard online from the States so I guess I'll find out the hard way.
