I bought this phone for my father, age 91. He was a fairly tech-savvy guy but has lost a few steps and finds this phone too small and finicky to operate. I have been a smartphone user since the start and prior to that, a Motorola flipphone user.
The menus and access to option settings are not easy to find and some seem non-existent, for instance the camera - still don't know how to enable it or use it. The time display was out of sync by one time zone. It took numerous settings and resets before it finally took. Can't seem to find a detailed user guide, it came with a quick start guide but it leaves out some things (I assume because I can't find them, ie: Camera) There aren't any volume keys, must use the cursor control pad while in the call. This is near impossible when you're 91 and have little feeling in your fingers. Hard to hang onto because it has no heft. Meant for a younger person with better eyesight. There seem to be other phones that might work better but none of them work on the Freedom/Wind network according to their disclaimers. Too bad because I like Freedom (both my wife and I are customers) and their plan is very reasonable for what my father needs.
